As part of the LALA community, you will gain continuous access to global development and scholarship opportunities, resources and connections to support your growth after the bootcamp
Understand more about your passions, values and motivations. Experiment different mindfulness and meditation techniques to increase self awareness and cultivate a compassionate mind and heart.
Work in small teams to develop innovative social impact projects, using Design Thinking and Social Entrepreneurship tools to tackle the problems your are most passionate about.

Have profound and genuine conversations with inspirational leaders, social entrepreneurs and educators that are creating positive change in business, government and education around Latin America.
We believe in the principle of organizing as a circle to enhance the quality of our dialogues in complex leadership topics such as "the good society" and "ethics in government and business".

Community Visit
Learning does not happen only inside the classroom. We make sure to visit iconic social impact projects and communities to better understand the reality of Latin America.

A DAY IN A LALA BOOTCAMP
7:30 - 8:30 Have Breakfast with your friends, facilitators and mentors.
8:45 - 9:30 Setting the context for the day by engaging in collective group roles and responsibilities.
9:30 - 11:30 Public Narrative: learning to communicate your beliefs, goals and values. Learn skills to lead, organize and take action. Research based on: Public Narrative: Self, Us & Now, Marshall Ganz, Harvard Kennedy School.
11:30 - 1:00 Team Building: Finding and attracting resources. Learn Team Building techniques and Human-centered design. Research based on: iLab at the Keough School of Global Affairs.
1:00 - 2:00 Have Lunch with your friends, facilitators and mentors.
2:00 - 2:30 Debrief on what you learnt during the day so far.
2:30 - 3:30 Daily self-care routine. Consider habits and practices that improve yourself as a person and leader. Research based on: Greater Good Science Center at UC Berkeley, Casel, Tania Singer, Max Planck Institute.
3:30 - 6:30 Human Centered Design: from ideation to implementation. Learn principles of Design Thinking, Systems Thinking, Implementation Science. Research based on: African Leadership Academy, Stanford d.School.
7:00 - 9:30 Social Impact Dinner: Network with innovation leaders from the private, public and social sectors.
9:30 - 10:30 Quiet Time.
11:00 Lights Out.
